Burn Rome Burn played its first show in May of 2003 at the world-famous rock club Double Door in Chicago, IL. 2004 saw the release of their first commercial recording, a four song self-titled EP that is now in its fourth pressing. 2004 also brought three headlining shows at Metro (capacity 1100), an opening slot for national touring artist Will Hoge, and shows in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
While spending much of 2005 in the studio, Burn Rome Burn found time to play a weekend show at House of Blues, Chicago, and perform at high profile summer festivals such as Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI (Pete Yorn headlining), Taste of Randolph, Chicago, IL (Cowboy Mouth headlining), and The Sheffield Garden Walk, Chicago, IL (10,000 Maniacs headlining). 2005 also saw Burn Rome Burn as the lone opening act for national recording artist Cracker at the Cubby Bear in Chicago, and club shows in Wisconsin and Missouri.
On February 7, 2006, Burn Rome Burn will release its first full-length album entitled “Bottle Boy.”
