Recorded April 2000 at SI Studios in Scranton, Pennsylvania, "Captain Zig" was the very first official studio recording by Captain Zig. The EP contains five of the band''s earliest compositions, in the vein of jamband rock with fun and quirky lyrics. The album was released shortly before the band opened for The Dude of Life, who enjoyed their live set. Considered a rare collector''s item now available for the first time since it''s initial release.
