Recorded September/October 2000 at SI Studios in Scranton, Pennsylvania. "Captain Zig II - Force Fed" was the first official full length studio recording by Captain Zig. The album contains many of the elite classic Captain Zig material and considered to be the best representation of the original band''s line-up. Several of the tracks have played on radio stations throughout the Northeastern United States; including Jackin'' the Bonsai, Timmy''s Got a Beaver, and Where''s My Shoes?. The album was released shortly after the band opened for The Dude of Life, who enjoyed their live set. Force Fed contains many different kinds of music: bluegrass, jamband, funk, and rock. The album was ranked #19 on the top 30 albums of 2001 listed by 103.1 WRNR in Annapolis, Maryland.
