Here''s an East Coast salsa project by singer Eddie Aponte. It''s been a while since Aponte released an album, the prior being 1993''s Eddie Salsa Swing. My guess is that he has had this session in the can for some time, as it features the late Nestor Sanchez singing coro. Other luminaries on this project are Isidro Infante, Oscar Hernandez, Ricky Gonzalez, Pablo "Chino" Nunez, Papo Pepín and, also on coro, the great Ray De La Paz. Listen for the excellent tracks "Prende El Fogón" and "Casamiento No."
