Details:
The trio met in Gothenburg late in 2007 and started improvising and playing together. They really enjoyed working together so they decided to work together as a group and Heart of the Machine was born.
The music is built around their own compositions which the group has arranged together.
It is modern jazz with influences from indie rock. The band has both energetic rock parts and calm lyrical parts which make the contrasts strong.
In September 2008 HOTM played a tour in Switzerland. The audience were impressed with the bands dedication, energy and diversity. One of the concerts was recorded and released in September 2009: HOTM: Live in Bern.
