THis past February, I went to Jewish vilage of Putti in Uganda to produce and record some of the most amazing music I had every heard. THe melodies for many of the psalms were composed by the mother of Putti''s spiritual leader Enosh Keki Mainah.
THe music has a strong East African Influence and at the same time is some of the most original Jewish music I''ve ever been associated with. Putti is a community that is struggling to survive.
