Unfortunately Tyet began their CD production at the same time the recession began. This forced the band to be very creative in their production process. With broken equipment, very little money, and a ton of hope they overcame many roadblocks to complete this project.
Having chosen musicians that lived in Pennsylvania to play on their CD, they did not have access to them or the luxury of rehearsal. Tyet decided to use technology as their 6th band member. Thus began the painstaking process: creating the music on a laptop, emailing the music, chords and lyrics to Matt, Chris and Tom and don’t forget coordinating with Laughing Tiger Studios. For the next three months Tyet had countless phone conversations, email exchanges and detailed song and production notes to be sure that the songs came together. After many file conversions and long sleepless nights the songs were solidified.
Once the songs were set Bruce and Brian took the rest of their resources and flew the band out to CA for 3 days of hard work and hard play. With only one and half days of face time the band went into the studio and recorded this amazing album in 8 hours.
