All You Can Eat Buffet is a solo project of songwriter John Thomas Powers which began with the desire to offer the song "November Day" to residents of storm ravaged Southern Indiana. John''s writing continued until he had compiled several new songs and decided to offer them as a CD. All have received warm reviews which reflect the want of basic, acoustically driven songs by the listening public. All of these tracks are bare bones and allow the simple and honest lyrics to fulfill the singer/songwriter genre. John started out in gospel but his musical influences are widespread. Big band, classical, rock, country and gospel have all impacted on him and precipitated his diverse writing style. He is also a founding member of the group Common Quest, which performs in the Midwest area. John and his wife Jan, have five children and four grandchildren. Enjoy!
