“Imagine a musician with equal facility on bass AND guitar. He plays guitar like Allan Holdsworth and plays bass like Jeff Berlin. Is he human? Is he from this planet“

"Rarely have I heard a musician that can double on the bass and guitar with the proficiency that I am hearing from Al Garcia... “

"Guitarist Al Garcia shows us that Fusion Jazz is far from dead... It is the kind of Jazz that will take you away on it’s storied journey."
Imagine a kind of music that knows no stylistic barriers; music that borrows from the best of many traditions to create a new reality, an alternate reality.
“Alternate Realities” is guitarist/bassist Al Garcia’s follow up to his highly acclaimed first release “Make It So.” Combining elements of jazz-rock fusion, progressive rock, classical, jazz, Latin, space rock, electronica, and cinematic music, Al’s music transcends boundaries.
