Charles began singing at the tender age of two. He was inspired by the great vocal skills of many great artists whom he often would hear while listening to the radio. Artists like Luther Vandross, Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White, Howard Hewitt, Pebo Bryson, James Ingram, and Marvin Gaye to name a few. He would sing along word for word, note for note all day and night. The sound of groups like The Barkays, Earth Wind and Fire, The Commadores, and The Chilites would keep him up into the wee hours of the night just listening and singing along. His mom would often come into his room and threaten him saying, "If you don''t turn that radio off and go to sleep you won''t be able to sleep." Needless to say he immediately jumped into his bed and went to sleep. Yet the melodies of the songs would continue to play as he slept.
At the age of twenty he began singing in a local band. The band was called "Finess" and man did they have plenty of it. They entered many battle of the band contests and never lost a single battle. Charles was the lead singer, yet acknowledges that it was a group effort that always brought them victory. Very skilled musicians produced a smooth rhythmic sound that would captivate the attention of the listeners and he would just add the topping to the cake. The band would travel to many cities of the U.S. performing for various audiences. They would continue together for five years before the group would ultimately split. This break up would leave an emptiness in his heart. Yet the passion to sing still burned within.
Charles had no previous musical training. He had never learned how to play any instruments and the only means of vocal training he had received came from singing in the choir at his local church. Yet he had a determination to continue his musical career. Coming from very meager beginnings he had no money to purchase lessons, but he had a lot of "Faith". He went out and purchased a Cassio keyboard for about $200 and began banging and praying. And after a few years of this banging and praying he would finally start putting the sounds that he''d heard so clearly in his head to the ears of the multitudes. The music you hear in his performances and on his cd''s is the direct result of faith, hard work, and prayer. It is amazing what can be done with just a little faith and a lot of prayer.
He would later write and produce his first R&B cd. The music was widely received and he caught the attention of several major record companies. The executives of these labels compared his music and writing skills to the man who at the time reigned in R&B his name I''m sure most people have heard on many occasions. https://www.tradebit.comly was the artist of comparison. These words gave him the encouragement needed to continue his quest to become one of the best R&B artists of the day. Though he could not go the route of the record labels he still persued his goals.
Charles would not much later receive CHRIST into his heart. One of the first things he was told was that he had a choice to make. The choice was to continue with the songs that he had previously written, or trust the Lord to give him a new song. Well, needless to say he trusted, and God gave; and the rest is history. The songs lyric changed but the sweet melody remained the same. The message is now truly in the music.
Charles has a unique sound that''s all his own. A sound that when it''s heard screams "LISTEN". The smooth, silky, yet strong voice of Mr. Noble is one to never be forgotten. His sound is one that reminds you of what a singer should be. Controlled and trained he delivers on every note. The comparison many have made put him among the best to ever approach a microphone. Yet he never toots his own horn. A humble man he receives no glory unto himself, but gives all Glory to GOD. In his own words, " I know where I got everything that I have, and none of it came from me".
He has performed on stage with some of the gospel greats, and have interviewed scores more in the production of his Gospel program which aired on television from 2001-2003 to several million viewers while living in Atlanta, Georgia. His show was called "Off The Charts". He would introduce new videos from the established artists in the Gospel music field, and would air the videos of many of the up and coming Gospel artists.
Charles is currently a licensed minister of The Gospel, and resides in Texas where he is assistant pastor at a local church. The music is a "Great" part of his ministry. It opens up the hearts of the listeners to receive the Miracle Working Power and the Anointing of God into there lives. The message is stream-lined into the souls of those who "HEAR", and the effect thereof is an everlasting change that greatly increases the overall value of their lives.
His spends all of his spare time enjoying his family and friends; raising his dogs, and making more music for his fans. His love for people in general is evident, and speaks volumes for the integrity of the man behind the music. In Mr. Noble''s own words, "The one thing that I desire most is that when someone leaves my presence they take from the experience a genuine feeling of knowing that they have "Truly" been in the presence of a "REAL" Man Of God. A man who lives the life he sings about in his songs. Thats what really matters to me". He is a man who "KNOWS" where his "BLESSINGS" come from, and is "THANKFUL" for them "ALL".
