The quintet Skyside are alternative, song-based pop in a fast, loud, but otherwise flat musical landscape. The contrasting voices of Kerstin Steiner and Jonnie White provide Skyside with a varied and individual vocal sound. The band sound, acoustically instrumented, is pure, although distortion and delay do make their appearances too. The repertoire of songs is English.
Skyside''s début album “Ergo Relief”, released in April 2008, follows their development from trio to 5 piece band. A collection of eclectic songs, the album contains both ''pop'' songs, as well as more experimental compositions.
