Details:
Nonnon (aka Dave Madden) hails from Salt Lake City. He splits his time between making hip-hop influenced electronic music and academic, experimental compositions.

In 2007 he collaborated with fellow SLC resident Lapsed to create the glitch-hop opus “The Death of Convenience”, which was released on the German label Ad Nosiem. The Death of Convenience paired the duo of Lapsed & nonnon with MC’s Subtitle, Bleubird, Buck Dexter, Nonsense and Nongenetic (of the Shadowhuntaz) as well as fellow electronic artists Mothboy and Raoul Sinier.

For his follow up to “The Death of Convenience” nonnon has ditched all the collaborators (with the exception of his Nolens Volens''s remix "The First Instills Fear") and forged ahead with his IDM’d out hip-hop. On his new album The Entitlement Generation nonnon draws on both his experimental and hip-hop influences to create an album of noisy head nodders and glitched out funk.
