These are my favourite Christmas carols, and I''ve known and played almost all of them for most of my life. The Dutch carols are the first songs I remember learning as a child. I have loved the two versions of Ave Maria for a long time, and learned them for this recording.
The CD was recorded at the Philip T. Young Recital Hall at the University of Victoria. Many thanks to Peter Driessen and Kirk McNally for their patience and tremendous help, and to my wife, Brenda, for her wonderful photography and undying encouragement.
