Hi, Jake here. I like to think these sounds do what good sounds are supposed to.
I find it difficult to describe the music further and hope it can speak for itself.
In making this album I feel I had many influences, including many musicians from the past and present representing a large range of genre and stile. But also I have drawn from artists who have worked in other media be it literature movies or painting. Most of all I have been influenced by the world around me and by the people I know.
I did feel a strong sense of autonomy while working on this and even now the album retains that autonomy in my mind.
I used natural instruments, like amplified guitar, recorded through a microphone, and also digital software instruments to make the music that I wrote, recorded, edited and produced.
I wish to thank all who helped make this album possible. I am grateful.
