I wanted to make an altar. One song represents one stone. Each stone represents one tribe of Israel. I felt I must build an altar made of my dreams, my creed, my relationships, my patience(and lack thereof) and my proclamation that Christ is I am. I wanted to be a living sacrifice. As I built the altar,shown on the front cover, I was reminded of Elijah and the story of how the altar he built was set aflame by God even though it was doused with water. I wanted God to consume me for His glory. I still do.
