The year of 2008 presented one of the darkest hours in my journey as a minister of music. I had to part ways with my church home in which I voluntarily dedicated over two decades of service to. It became evident and was made clear that it was very frowned upon to use your God-given gifts and talents outside of the organization and benefit in any way. As result of the release of the my prior project, "Unison Gospel Revolution," I faced summons of legal teams, was silenced in the association, and endured open character defamation . All this to evoke fear and promote an atypical agenda. At the end of the day the leadership demanded that I make a decision between continuing to be a part of that society or proceeding with my music career. It was confirmation then that I had reached the end of a big chapter in my life. There was some hurt and confusion that lingered, but I understood that all things happen for a reason. That was the comfort of it. At this time I had to really seek God and what he was saying in the situation for that moment. He revealed to me that the Victory had already been won and he allowed me to partake in the tribulation for my personal growth and for his glory. Once I heard this in spirit, it was immediately comforting and then he began to reveal more of my purpose, the deeds of true ministry, and what matters in his eyes. From this experience, my life was changed forever. In the aftermath, God gave me song. With this song I plan to make a difference and let someone know that no matter what, there is VICTORY in Christ.
