Details:
Singer/songwriter and violinist Maggie Malyn trained in classical violin and singing starting at a young age, later picking up guitar and writing her own songs. Soon after moving from Detroit, she started playing open mics in Los Angeles. She booked her first residency at the Cat Club on the Sunset Strip, also regularly playing other Hollywood venues.
Produced by organ/electric piano veteran Jack Maeby (Carly Simon, Etta James), her debut EP features Blasters guitarist Keith Wyatt, drummer Laval Belle (Earth Wind & Fire, Shelby Lynne, Keb Mo), and banjo player Del Casher (Elvis Presley, Frank Zappa) among others.
