With the help from Chris Brown and my crew, we developed the unique blend of a "sound" and "style" we call Jazzmatik. This album features some of the best new talent and some great veterans as well. I define it as a very modern, "urban cool" record with old school roots. We were not afraid to loop or use tech to take it to the next level. We used hip hop merged with rhythm and blues as our base, and incorporated all styles [and I mean all styles] of music! We took a no limits approach, and explored musical freedom to the fullest!!!!
I used one of Bob Moog‘s original sonic 6 synthesizer programing on the fly for some of the solos. I used Korg’s Radius and Yamaha’s MO 6, along with our inane sample Library to complete the sonic landscape. So please, sit back and enjoy a little bit of blues, a little bit of soul, a little bit funk and some rock and roll. That''s Jazzmatik baby! I hope you dig the groove!!
