Douglas Feil is a new, emerging artist that brings soul, inspiration, and sincerity to the world of music. His musical career began at Texas Tech University where he joined the Visions of Light Gospel Choir. There, he performed alongside Gospel legends, John P. Kee and Byron Cage. He later moved to Dallas, TX and began solo writing, recording, and performances. He also began working with Dallas jazz greats, The Arlington Jones Trio (https://www.tradebit.com). Eventually, he caught the eye of Gospel legend, Kirk Franklin (https://www.tradebit.com). He began performing with Kirk Franklin during the recording and promotion of The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin. While with Kirk, he also shared the stage with U2, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Crystal Lewis, Shirley Caesar, and many others. During this time, he also appeared on The Grammys, The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno, The Stellar Awards, and Live at the Appollo. After his stint with Kirk Franklin, Doug moved to New Haven, CT to begin working on a solo career. Since moving to Connecticut, he has been hard at work. He released his solo debut album in October 2004 and has performed in several venues throughout Connecticut. He has also been working with local rock legends, Steve and Jon Rodgers of Mighty Purple (https://www.tradebit.com) at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westport, CT. Doug uses his public voice to help fuel the modern day abolitionist movement to end child trafficking. He supports the ministry of Justice for Children International (https://www.tradebit.com). Currently, Doug is working on performing, writing, promotions, and recording a new double CD with worship and love songs to be released in Fall 2006. He is also working on a group project with Kenyon Adams (https://www.tradebit.com), Rose Fletcher, and his wife, Jody. He is also a proud papa to his baby daughter, Fiona.
