Good Samaritan Ministries (GSM) is a nonprofit Christian organization, founded in October 1979 in Beaverton, Oregon and now located in 27 countries. The concepts of the ministry are the same the world over-- being that "Samaritan" who stops to help and meet a need. Our services are available without charge to anyone regardless of ethnic background, religious, sexual or political preference or ability to make a donation. We provide counseling, education, mental health services, Group Therapy, Samaritan training, student and school sponsorship programs in Africa and Pakistan, and much more.
Believing that the faith of many little people can make a big difference, Good Samaritan Ministries is a first century approach to Christian ministry. We are to actively train laborers as servants of the Kingdom of God, individuals who will minister to the needs of others through a combination of teaching, wise counsel and service. We seek to act without prejudice, training workers and clients to become as little children, simple in faith, bold in trust, humble in spirit, with genuine love and concern for all.
