Damon "D-STUBBS" Stubblefield was born on May 25, 1983 to the pround parents of David and Patricia Stubblefield in Detroit, MI. Upon his arrival into the world, his grandmother looked into his squinted eyes a remarked "This boy will bring something good to the world!" Little did she know, young Damon would eventually mature into a polished muscian that make an inpact on the music industry and the world in a major way! As an only child, D-STUBBS has always found refuge from the world through art. At the early age of 8, he developed his first comic book series and gained the attention of Marvel Comics. (what a little hustler!) At the age of 11 (12 years ago), D-STUBBS was introduced to the program Fruity Loops (now called FL Studio) from a friend, Eddie Lee, who aspired to be a musician one day. Used as a tool for producing hip-hop beats, D-STUBBS fell in love with the art of expressing himself through the rythms he created on his computer. D-STUBBS evenutally gained local recognition in his hometown of Southfield, MI as being a hitmaker and provided beats to his city''s top rappers (though few, inexperienced, and unconnected with the industry). Rap Artists admired his sound because it possesed an energy similar to that of the marching band he performed with throughout high school, the Southfield High school Blue Jay Marching Band (one of the greatest). In fact, many of the songs D-STUBBS produced during his high school days were inspried by the arrangements of Benjamin McKnight, the high school band director! Eventually, through music and academics, D-STUBBS earned a scholarship to Howard University where he matured as a producer and continued to network. By playing with the Howard University Showtime Marching Band, he developed friendships with many musicians who provided respectable criticism while reinforcing positve aspects of his sound. In addition, D-STUBBS gained a reputation similar to that of the one in his hometown: a certified heatmaker! In May 2005, D-STUBBS graduated from Howard''s School of Business with a degree in Marketing and four more years of production experience. Today, D-STUBBS is currently working on a number of projects from a variety of fresh talents ranging from Hip Hop/R&B artists to Alternative groups. His reason for living is simple: "To make music that moves fans in a way they thought they couldn''t be https://www.tradebit.com touch fans in a way they remember each time they listen to a https://www.tradebit.com translate the feelings I had when making the track into my fans...and to create music for the world to enjoy!"
