DeVynne has been a soulful soloist for over ten (10) years and is continuing her success through the next decade. DeVynne is better known as Denise C. Ford and vocal abilities range from 2nd Soprano to 2nd Tenor. My experiences as a singer have brought me great harmony and diversity. When I first discovered my gift of song, I knew right then, singing is what I should be doing and with God''s help I can be all that I can and know I would like to be. Thanks to my mother, who is now deceased, I know I can make it through anything.
I have performed as the opening act for recording artist such as Denise LaSalle, The Dramatics, Case, 702, The Emotions, SWV, SOS Band, Mary J. Blidge, SOS Band, & Kelly Price. I also had the opportunity to not only singing as a soloist but also performed as a background singer for many other artist. I have shared the stage with artists such as Commission, Vanessa B. Armstrong, Allison Williams, T.P. Hearns & Foolish- both are comedians, Morris Day, a presenter for the Award to The Emotions at the Showcase Music Awards and have enjoyed the company of Ice Cube in Los Angeles, CA as a speaker for "Youth on the Right Track". I have competed in the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, California in October, 1999 and won two (2) gold metals, one (1) for an original song and one (1) for the partial arrangement of a cover song performed. I also performed for the show Nickelodeon while in Los Angeles, CA. I currently perform in a band called "Affair" for the Greek Town Casino of Detroit, Michigan, Motor City Casino of Detroit, Michigan, Andiamo Italian Restaurants of Dearborn and Sterling Heights, Michigan, Weddings, Corporate & Private Parties.
My primary goal is to be able to show love by giving love with my gift of song, to be able to soar to new heights of SUCCESS, and lets others know you can always reach your goals if you apply yourself.
