I am an electric bassist and guitarist that was heavily influenced by funk, R&B, blues and jazz fusion. I listened to Larry Graham, James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorius, Louis Johnson, Stanley Clarke, Bootsy Collins, Prince, Marcus Miller, Richard Bona, Matthew Garrison, George Benson, Ronny Jordan, Frank Gambale and Jimmy Ponder --just to name a few. I''ve decided to change things up a little from the Protocol Theory project (https://www.tradebit.com) and try a solo effort. I usually hear melodies and rhythms that stay in my mind for days. This CD is just the first of hopefully a series of these "musical sketch pad drawings".
