Lana Now Fell fuses their heart-wrenching lyrics and moody melodies with powerful, anthem like choruses, big hooks and pop-sensibility. Formed by three childhood friends in Santa Monica, California: Rich Moritz (Vocals/Guitar), Tim McCarty (Guitar), and Jason Gochin (Bass/Back-up vocals) they were bound for succuss. After accepting a publishing deal from Chrysalis and turning down some minor offers and going through the motions on a few development deals, the band decided to go for it on their own. The best decision they could have made.
In January 2006, with the addition of Ryan Yerdon (Drums), the band wrote a new song every time they visited their shady Hollywood rehearsal room. A fresh sound was created and the product of this was their self-titled debut. Co-Produced by Chad Bamford, (Weezer, L7, Wolfmother) the album has hints of The Cure, Foo Fighters, u2 and Muse. But the personal touches throughout, lyrically and musically, put Lana Now Fell in their own category, and with tours already planned for the western coast and overseas, it is a category soon to be discovered by many.
